My friend Tara was nice enough to show my quilting group how to do a fast and simple applique. This is the first time I have really put together a quilt block with applique instead of piecing it. I like the way my Christmas tree turned out. Now I just need to run down to Hobby Lobby and get a star button for the tree topper.
